I build VaultStorage, and I write the guides on this blog. Everything here comes from the same place: paperwork that goes missing at exactly the wrong moment.

What I actually do

I am the product lead on VaultStorage. That means I design the screens, write the code behind them, answer the support mail, and write the articles you find here. There is no content team — if a guide is wrong, it is my fault, and you can write to me and I will fix it.

Why I write about this

VaultStorage started with a broken air conditioner, a warranty that had ended eleven days earlier, and a receipt nobody could find. Every guide on this blog answers a question I had to answer for myself first: what counts as proof of purchase, how long to keep a bill, how to get a 2 GB file to somebody without uploading it anywhere.

How these articles are written

  • First-hand where possible. If a guide describes a method, it is a method I have used, usually inside VaultStorage itself.
  • Honest about limits. Where rules vary by country — tax windows, consumer law — the article says so instead of quoting one country's number as if it were universal.
  • No invented numbers. No made-up statistics, no fake case studies, no screenshots of things that do not exist.
  • Corrected in public. If something turns out to be wrong, the article is updated and the change is noted. See the editorial policy.
