How these guides are written

Short version: one named person writes them, nothing is invented, rules that vary by country are flagged as such, and mistakes are corrected in public.

Written by Stive Reviewed September 2026

Who writes here

Every article on this blog is written by Stive, who builds VaultStorage. There is no anonymous content team and no outsourced writing. The author's name, role and contact address are on every article.

Where the facts come from

  • First-hand use. When a guide describes how something works — a transfer, a claim, a filing habit — it describes something we have done ourselves.
  • Primary sources for rules. Anything about retention periods, consumer rights or tax records points you to your own authority rather than repeating one country's rule as if it were global.
  • Search behaviour, not guesswork. Topics are chosen from what people actually search for, and articles are written to answer that question directly in the first paragraph.

What we will not publish

  • Invented statistics, fake case studies or numbers without a source.
  • Testimonials, ratings or user counts that are not real. VaultStorage is new, and the site says so.
  • Legal, tax or medical advice. Where a question needs a professional, the article says so.
  • Claims about our own product that the product does not do. If a feature is not built, it is listed as not built.

How articles are checked

Before publishing, each guide is checked for four things: that every claim is either verifiable or clearly marked as a judgement, that no rule is presented as universal when it is not, that the product claims match what the software actually does today, and that every link resolves.

Updates and corrections

Guides are reviewed when something changes — a feature ships, a rule changes, or a reader tells us we got it wrong. Substantive corrections are noted in the article rather than quietly edited away.

To report a mistake, write to support@vaultstorage.in with the article and the line in question. Corrections are made quickly and are free of any obligation to us.

Independence and money

VaultStorage is free and has no paid plan, so nothing on this blog is written to push you up a pricing ladder. There are no paid placements, no affiliate links and no sponsored posts. When an article mentions VaultStorage, it is because the article is about a problem the product solves, and the mention is marked as what it is.

AI and this blog

Drafting tools may be used the way a spellchecker is used, but every article is planned, fact-checked and signed off by a person who is accountable for it. Nothing is published that the author has not read end to end.
